APEGS application process for a Canadian Graduate as an Engineer-in-Training:

The following are the steps of the application process:

  1. You must ensure that your bachelor’s degree is accredited by CEAB. You can do so by contacting an APEGS report writing expert.
  2. The next step is to create a user account with APEGS.
  3. The third step is to check your mail for an ‘APEGS sign-up verification’ from [email protected]. The link provided here will take you to the APEGS Central homepage.
  4. The fourth step is to go to the ‘Application’ quick link on the left side of the page from there. After that, choose ‘Apply Now and select the engineer-in-training Canadian graduate application type. For the submission of your online application, pay the application fee using a credit card.
  5. After that, go to fees to see additional payment options.
  6. The last step is to send the following necessary documents to APEGS:

Confirmation of graduation by giving one of the below-given documents:

Option 1: Official Transcripts from the institution issued straight to APEGS.

Keep in mind: These transcripts must have the date of convocation and the degree given.

Option 2: A letter from the Faculty of Engineering or the College of Engineer if the convocation ceremony has not yet happened

Keep in mind: The letter given to you must have your name, degree awarded, discipline, and the date of graduation.

Option 3: Confirmation of Graduation form:

Proof of Identification

Fill up and submit the Proof of Identification Form (fillable PDF) and attach a copy of the related photo ID which the guarantor must sign.

 

What will happen after that?

If you are approved, an invoice for annual registration fees, prorated for the remainder of the year, will be sent to your online profile. Having paid your registration fees, you will be able to use the ‘engineer-in-training’ title.

You will get an electronic image of your seal and a certificate in the mail. You are not required to have this certificate in your possession for the use of the title ‘engineer-in-training’.
